Me: pours sugar into sugar bowl type container. During procedure I notice that the sugar has big and small lumps despite being brand new.

Creative me: "I should use something spinny and hard to break all this up.."

Logical me: shows creative me a picture of sugar flying everywhere including into my eyeball

Creative me: "ABORT!!"

Me: proceeds to break up sugar bits with a spoon in a nice manner with minimal spilling

Thank you logical me!

I decided I would get too aggressive with a fork so kept using the spoon that I later used to put and stir said sugar into my coffee! I can really whisk with a fork ya know... I make some pretty good scrambled eggs. And bacon. And toast. And hashbrowns. And eggs benedict.

OMG, I need to buy the things for eggs benedict for Xmas morning.

I think I finally have room for the xmas tree too. Just in time so my monster dog can take his picture in front of it. It'll be the shortest period of time my tree will ever be up.

Gas company fails to send us bills for the r-casa for several months, omission they man.

Gas company fails to send us bill last month for regular casa, omission they man.

We call twice to inquire, ask we man.

Two reps promise to fax bills to us, promise they man.

No fax either time, omission they man.

Today, we get both bills with DISCONNECTION NOTICE boldly on them, grrrRRRR man.

We of course will get payment in before deadline, finally have bills man.

Someone's head will roll for this, dealing with a top POTS executive here man.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Curbsided (not much) garbage and decided to rake leaves from curbside, rake we man.

Leaves just from in front of our casa filled our can & can from vacant casa next door, amazing man.

"Leaf us alone, oj tak!" we exhorted the neighbors' oak trees, grrrr man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

Trees should be allotted a 2-week window during which to de-leaf themselves, oj tak.

Still colder than an illegitimate male child outside, 2x2x2x2x2-1 degrees F., man.

However, going to be Many (2x2x2x2x2x2+2+2+2) degrees F. or more by weekend, looking forward man.
