My buddy in the Alleghenies, he takes a snowmobile to work at times.

It is more of a toy around here. I think it is too cold to use often in winter. There is full signed snowmobile trail that runs the 40 miles or whatever to his job, but that is a long way to go in the cold blowing snow and over the bumps of driveways (the trail runs in the ditch along the road). Plus, when a lot of cars are going into the ditch because it is slippery out.... I know some people that take them or their 4 wheelers into work who only have a short distance to go.

Mrs. T-B.'s ankle doesn't hurt but looks like someone slugged it with a baseball bat, swollen discoloration man.

Wonder if she should visit doc, dunno man.

My husband had his ankle look like that after twisting it. It was fine a day or two later. I think some people are more prone to swelling/bruising than others.

I didn't know that homes in Texas even had heating systems.

Alley still isn't plowed and of course husband didn't snowblow it, so trapped I am at home. The truck has a little more clearance than my car so no problem for him getting out.

####### is up with them not salting the roads here. So, husband leaves for work this morning after ND opens the highways, but says the conditions were still terrible all day. He is about ready to leave for home (as are many people) and they issue a no travel advisory in ND and the state patrol says the roads the entire way home in MN are covered in ice. They've been ice covered since yesterday, why aren't they salting them?

At least they didn't close the roads yet.

Temperature here supposed to start at Many degrees by sunrise and fall to Many degrees throughout the day, cattywampus man.

Should still be Many (approx. 2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2]) degrees F. by sunset, outrageous Global Cooling man.
