Yeah, whole family is fine - we took the little one in to get checked out just to be sure because his car seat must have taken some of the force and moved to the side and he was just way too abnormally quiet.

Getting an estimate later today, but basically the whole back end is probably a loss - pickup truck hit the hatchback door, the rear bumper and metal frame, the back lights are hanging off. It was drivable though.

Maybe damage to the stroller in the back, but we can't check it out because the door is stuck partially open and wedged in.

Insurance company was initially hesitant about replacing the car seat, but I think it won't be a problem.

Glad everyone is ok.

Make sure they pay what it will cost for the new seats not what the old seat cost.

We & WCG had all of Viernes Negro to ourselves, free man.

In addition to GSs, we went to the following, see man:

*new dining-room light fixture** purchased for half of what sticker said, rarely get what we don't ask for man

**deftly installed in casa by WCG in exactly 2x2x2x2-1 minutes, proficient he man

For lunch, CiCi's buffet at $1 off, deal man.

Many (2+1) plates of piled-high salad eaten by WCG, ingest he man.

Many (2+2+2) plates of piled-high pizza eaten by us, ingest we man.

For dinner, WCG served turkey soup with carrots, potatoes, & celery, ingest man.

Exhausted Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. came home during, already having eaten at amiga's casa she & we man.

Saturday, WCG installs replacement right-side mirror on the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, proficient WCG man.

We & WCG do repairs to r-casa, necessary man.

Most time-consuming of latter = replacing Many (2x2x2+2+1) rotten fence-boards, such rot man.

If we end up not getting our deductible amount from the other party's insurance company, we'll be spending $2000. We've saved more than that by having such a high deductible with both cars, but it is ouchy.

They said to buy the new seat and fax them the receipt. The old seat cost $250 and probably getting the same one. It is really the only narrow rear facing seat on the market that goes up to a good height.

That's good. I had friends who had to fight to get enough to cover new seats. We just bought new ones and sent them the reciept, let them know they were comparable prices to what we had. We ended up with getting better seats since they were on sale. It is hard to find seats that are narrow. I think it was the Radian they were like 100 or so off on amazon. We have so much more room in the back seat with them then before. We can actually fit a person back there without being squished now.
