I've already started my cooking tonight of lamb chops with a pomegranate and red wine reduction and cooked chard with beans and tomato.

Project clean before my mother arrives is going slower than anticipated due to me having to clean the windows in the house instead of my husband and his empty promises to do them for the last 2 years.

Meh, he had kind of a rough weekend - trouble with the hunting rifle at the range only a week before the deer opener, he is about to go to bed when someone's farm equipment is on fire, then he gets home several hours later and I convince him that he has scabies and insist on putting ivermectin on it (he probably doesn't have scabies).....

Yes, I know that ivermectin isn't FDA approved in America for scabies and certainly not topically. Annnnddd, I know it is weird that I have a horse dose of it sitting around, but there is some promising research that around that concentration does kill skin mites in humans.
