I brought her to the office to show her some stuff. She's been here on 3 or 4 occasions. But never took notice on the scientific stuff.

Maybe she will now?  She seems like a curious little one anyhow.

In the process of hauling clay up from the basement, the carpet on my stairs has become completely coated in clay.  Fantastic.

They do actually cook them on the griddle.  It is just afterwards that they sit in the warmer.

Weird.  Must be a new thing.  I spent a summer working at McDonald's in my teen years as the grill person.

It's not that new. I went on a rampage when pregnant with the Tornado (craving a big greasy cheese burger) because every fast food place did the same thing. Steam baths after microwaving. Some places have this little toaster thing that will put char marks on the burgers before then sit and get nuked.

The first time the Hillbilly came up to Canada he loved going to fast food and the smells of cooking burgers was amazing to him. I didn't realize they stopped grilling raw burgers here till after we have been here a few years. (We don't eat fast food often)

So it has to be at least 10 yrs they been doing it. Form when I went hunting down this information looking to find a place that still cooks the burgers it looked like the big fast food chains where almost all doing it. BK, McD's for sure. I only confirmed these two spots for sure between here and Canada :P We would stop to eat from time to time when traveling.

A few years ago my mom was offered her a managers position at A&W . (she worked there for years but was working elsewhere for a few years) She accepted it and found out that way that they no longer grilled either. McD's in Canada also steam baths the burgers. It's all very sad. I don't go out to eat healthy if I was fast food I want a big greasy burger.

We have good times here.. I think they actually cook their burgers....

Harveys always cooked their burgers.

I go to a place here called big daddy's that cooks, and I'd like to try smash burger.  OH OH, 5 guys and fries cooks their burgers and they're super greasy and fatty, but at least they're cooked from raw!
