Uncle T-B., who is 2x2x2x2x2x2+(2x2x2x2)+(2x2x2) years old, is being moved to hospice care, senior he man.

Such a shame when the mind is sound but the body fails, sigh man.

However, that's far preferable to the converse, shudder man.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Same here.  I finally fall asleep and my husband wakes me up early this morning.  Then, we tried to go into the big town to go shopping and had to stop a fifth of the way there because the road was solid ice and we were sliding all over.  People with heavier cars seemed to be having less difficulty but I'm a scaredy cat and made my husband turn around.

Oh, it is on Netflix now?  I started watching it on the BBC and then skipped too many weeks and the episodes expired so I kind of gave up on watching it.  I'll have to pick it back up.

I'm a big believer that you shouldn't rely on that money because it might not come one year or you might get audited.  I'm thinking of putting most of this year's in a new car fund.

I get it. You never know how well others will drive in snow/ice and there will be some that don't see their limits. Better safe than sorry.

Took Mrs. T-B. to our favorite resale shop for $1-clothing sale, semiannual man.

After above retail-gasm, took Mama T-B. out for belated birthday lunch, senior she man.

Mama T-B. requested Burger King, and brought own coupons, tree falls not far from apple no man.

LOL!  Do we really ever believe our parents?  At least she's questioning things and not blindly believing?  Santa will soon fall!!!
