Tried taking the pups to the dog park yesterday but it was too late and everyone had left.  So we will go today. He was so excited to be there too lol!

 

It's like a massive fenced yard so even with no other dogs we can play, but he gets distracted marking everything.  Lol. At least he doesnt attempt to mark anything at home!

Our 8 month old puppy is starting to mark everything outside, as well. He doesn't mark anything inside our house but we visited some friends with a couple of dogs this weekend and he started marking there, for which he received some punishment. Sheesh.

 

By the way, do they mark as much once they're neutered? This pup is cruising for a bruising.

They generally stop.  Nero won't be neutered until at least 2 when he's done growing, if at all.  Smaller breeds can be done younger, like 8-12m or whenever their growth plates have closed.

If you visit places keep a leash on him so you can correct the marking asap.  Nero thought about marking in Petco last night (some other dog had already marked a tablecloth) and an immediate correction with the leash and collar stopped that in it's tracks.

Coworker was fine, he apparently wandered off to a neighbor's house and left his phone home for two days.

Mrs. T-B. has early caucus and asked us to take Mini-B. to skool, we take wee man.

So hubs best friend's kid almost got himself kicked out of school and he's in kindergarten.  Im not particularly surprised to be honest.  He did better this week though so they took him to a movie.  Seems like a rather large reward but since the kid has more toys than he can shake a stick at, time with mom and dad both is probably more valuable.
