Operation basement water issue fixing is in full force.  One half of the ditch is dug, drainage rock, piping, and tile has been delivered.  All the new plumbing for our sewage line in the same area and new backflow preventer is all set to be installed.  As it turns out the existing sewage line is cast iron and basically just sits in the water table, which is as of now about 3 inches below our foundation.

Chinese New Year is tomorrow. Today, the eve, is a big day.

I stepped out earlier, and noticed the fook traffic about doubled from last year.

What this tells me is that fooks, like many others, have blatant disregard for our immigration laws.

11 million illegals in the US? That's a made up la-la land utopia number.

I'm telling you, there's about 11 gazillion illegal fooks in the NY area alone. Just fooks, not counting other origins.

Ugghh, my older daughter is not allowed to toast her own breakfast anymore.  She has been repeatedly told to toast food longer until it is cooked, especially with the breakfast pastry ones with egg and sausage in them.  If you turn up the toaster, she'll sneak in and turn it down or not eat it if you cooked it long enough.  Well today, she's got food poisoning it seems from a half frozen one she ate this morning...
