They only closed school one day this week and it was because the wind was bordering on blizzard the visibility outside of town was zero.  Some towns here will just cancel buses on those days for kids outside of town, but since we are a multi-town school district they can't really do that.

We got about a foot here. It was super cold though like when it snows in Alberta.  The wind was not fun.  At least people drove slowly and while traffic was no fun, I didnt see any accidents from yahoos. 

The funny thing is the Hillbilly was being s stick in the mud when I insisted we get them skipants.

Yeah.  He's around the same weight he was when we started talking.  He's lost 35 lbs and gained it back again.  Seems this is his equilibrium weight.

I only had a few dogs like ice cubes. It's a weird thing to like but a great treat :)

To be honest, I've never given one to a dog before.  I had a dog that would steal the scotch mints out of the candy dish and could hold about a dozen at a time.  Surprisingly he never choked.  

It's got to be the easiest treat ever!  And if it's in the kitchen where it can slide around a little, occasionally I can make it a game too!
