I'm just still surprised they've put braces on her already.  Kiddo had to have a tooth pulled and needed braces but they normally wait until you have most of your adult teeth unless they're really worried her adult teeth will come in totally whacko.

most kids have a space in their front upper two teeth.  The adult teeth are significantly larger.  I had a huge space when I was a kid and now I have none at all.

I think I posted it, but this is why.  That tooth that is sticking out came in next to the tooth it was supposed to replaced and on top of another permanent tooth.  They are lined up now and closer together.  I guess they are still worried about several of her adult teeth coming in, something about chaining and pulling them out or the like.

 

They do stage I braces now to prevent pulling teeth like they used to do.

It seems pretty common now, though.  I think two kids in her class now have palette expanders which is the pre-cursor to braces.

Regarding work clothes:  At last inventory, Many (2x2x2+2+2+1) of our Many (2x2x2x2+2+1) suits were bought at GSs, ESs, or thrift stores, bargains man.  Almost without exception, each of the Many bought non-retail are of higher quality and better fit than the retail-bought ones, seriously man.

There are actually Many (2+1) GSs offered on Saturday, get back into the spirit man.

However, Sat.'s weather is supposed to suck royally, temps in the Manys & probably wind-chill man.

There might have been some wet with the Christmas blizzard, we also got some freezing rain and sleet right before the snow started that day.

 

This past snow storm that bordered on a blizzard was fluffy, which is good because it was easier to clean off the streets.

I wonder if some of it is really to do with puberty coming earlier than previous generations?

Meh, different cases require different things.  In our case, I think it would be close to child neglect not to put the kid in braces, for other children it might be more minor cosmetic stuff.

Kiddo did mature earlier than I did in some areas.  Otherwise she was about the same.  I was pretty careful about organic meat with her too though.  I could have done more though.
