Monday report, see in brief man:

Awoke to the Mother of All Monsoons, no time to build an Ark man.

By mid-morn, skies cleared with much cloudless blueness, Chamber of Commerce weather man.

Played many games with Mini-B., mentally stimulated wee man.

 

Later went to Costco, just 2 items man.

Then to supermarket to buy wet glop for cat, insistent miu man.

Played more games with Mini-B., mentally stimulated wee man.

 

For dinner, Mrs. T-B. served a weird tuna/pasta medley, ingest anyway man.

Finally got nap, with cat, we and miu zzz man.

 

Back to work Tuesday, new year man.

Will caucus with accountants re staggering-record POTS profits, whee and $i man.

We have the money saved now for the interior french drain, so work will commence whenever the Dane can bring home the concrete cutter from his place of employ.

 

Waterproof membrane on the outside is going to have to be a next summer project.  

 

However, none of this might matter in flood of '97 scenario.  The water went up to the ceiling of the basement in this house in that year.

 

But, I don't know if they had a sump pump then.  I know one of them is new.  I don't know if a sump pump even matters in a scenario like that.
