NOA and biometrics appointment letters from TSC`

Hi all,

Just wanted to share that today I received the NOA1 and the biometrics appointment letter from TSC.

The NOA has a notice date of Mar 09, 07 and the biometrics letter has a notice date of Mar 22, 07.

Both carry the same case number, yet it won't work with the USCIS case online system. Is this normal? I thought the SRC # from the NOA should work....

Anyway, I am happy because they have scheduled my biometrics appointment for Apr 06, 07 already AND they have managed to schedule me with the Fort Smith, AR office which is like a 15 minutes drive and NOT with the Oklahoma City, OK which is like 3 hrs away and which I had to go to 2 yrs ago for AOS.

So besides the case numbers not working everything fine here!

Mar 24, 2007: biometrics receipt dated Mar 09

Mar 28, 2007: NOA1 dated Mar 09

(Oct 09, 2007: called USCIS: service request sent to TSC)

Jan 31, 2008: case transferred to VSC (last touch date changed from 04/07/07 to 02/01/08)

Feb 01, 2008: touch

Feb 04, 2008: touch

(Feb 05, 2008: infopass appointment)

Feb 07, 2008: transfer notice dated Feb 01, 08

Feb 13, 2008: touch (Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.)

Feb 25, 2008: touch

Apr 11, 2008: approval email! (only took 1 year, 34 days!)

Apr 13, 2008: 2 more approval emails

Apr 16, 2008: email notice: "Approval notice sent"

Apr 18, 2008: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! card received!

I'll cross my fingers that you'll get yours as well really soon. Even if they stopped issuing NOAs (which I doubt) you should have certainly received your biometrics appointment letter by now.

It looks like we received our NOA at the same day. My NOA is dated 3/14/07 and my Biometrics appointment notice is dated 3/22/07. I am scheduled on April 7th at 2pm. Well, good luck with your appointment.

yes, the case numbers not working really stinks. but it is probably just a little administrative error, where a worker forgot to set a flag or something. Guess I'll be left in the dark of when I will be approved and one day I will just have my greencard in my mailbox B)

Congratulations. My application number didn't work either at first. I think it worked about 2 days ago finally. Maybe they had a glitch in the system.
