So my petition reached the embassy Oct. 4 I have yet to receive package with all information needed. I know I can find this on the embassy website, but I read that I need invitation for interview to schedule my medical appointment. How long does it take to receive package and since I will schedule my own interview do I really need the letter? Your help is much appreciated.

Hi there,

If your petition has already reached the US Consulate, you may have an interview date, do you know what that date is?

If yes, then you should be given the appointment letter, (I got one too, but via e-mail I've registered when I have completed @Choice of agent).

When you selected a choice of Agent, then ask them (agent) to check their e-mail as they would have received this. If not, you may need to call NVC to enquire on your welcome letter.

I'll definitely be able to help you out further once I know a bit more from you, so let me know :D on here.

I get to schedule my own interview date. I still have not received anything from embassy, so I sent them a email inquiring if I needed a letter. So, until I get response will start my paperwork. Thanks for your response.
