Getting an esta after completing opt?

Hello.

Can I get a esta after completing my opt?

I'm an international student on opt. For personal reason I have to end my opt with 4 months in advance and going back to my country for 6 weeks. Is it possible for me, after these 6 weeks reentering the country with an Esta?

Probably, though they may question why you want to come back so soon.

You would not be able to work if you enter on ESTA.

Thanks for your answer, I really appreciate it. I need to come back to finish bring back some of my stuff, sell some other things that I accomulated in the 3 years that I'be been here.
