Hello everyone on vj. If you been reading my threads you have seen that listening to USCIS has not helped me...But everyone here has been wonderful with sending me in the right direction.

Here is the lates I was told. I check my bank account and saw the the check was cashed for my I-130. So I called to just ask a general question.

I have seen here that everyone has sent their I-129F to the lockbox in Chicago, and then it is forwarded to California Service Center. So I ask the person and gave them the petition file number of each the I-129F and I-130. I asked her that seeing that the I-129F was set up like the I130 when I sent it in mistake for spouse... I have also sent a letter explaining the mistake with the I-130.

So I asked her will the send the I129F to the NVC in Chicago?

She said yes the 2 petition are enter in the computer and will connect with each other. I might take a little longer as not they will finish the I-129F processing and then decided if it needs to be sent to Chicago or will be approved there.

I couldn't believe that this could happen? Am I wishing on something that this lady just said to please me?

I am hoping this is correct... I have read here that peoples that sent to lock box in Chicago their petition go to California...

Please help if this lady is not correct then I will have to send the I-129F to lock box and pay another 170.00.

Sure hope she is right.

Before you file the I129F make sure you get your noa by mail first. Then look to the instructions on the I129F and where it says for spouses- make sure you mail your petition to that address!

Having read your past posts: ignore consolemaster (sorry dude). You should remain VERY suspicious as to what will happen with your case. I have far less faith in their ability to match up your misguided petitions.

Let's recap (it's been quite hard to follow your sequence of events).

You currently have:

An I-130, filed correctly, to (________________) (please fill in the blanks).

An I-129f, sent to (_______________________) completed as if for a spouse BUT, sent without an I-130 NOA1.

You have received (______________________) notification from USCIS *specific to just the I-129f*.

What are the receipt dates for all of the above?

Forget the xfer to California---that might happen or not--it is irrelevant to you at the moment. It's meant to be at the MSC, and that is where you want it to make a pitstop, at the least.

Based on reading your past confusions, and seeing them repeated in this post, my suggestion is that you read over the IV & K-3 processes again and re-state them, to ask others to see if you understand what happens next. Keep doing this until you've got it.

I *really* recommend that you NOT send in any more money or forms or letters until you have a better understanding of where you are at, right now. Adding more paper, adding more phone calls and inquiries on your case are only adding to your, and CIS' confusion. The net effect is that you are slowing down a process that is not going to be quick anyway.

I also recommend that you start reading everything you can get your mitts on about interviewing and applying for a visa in Lagos; it is (one of?) the highest fraud posts in the world, and a unique place to deal with. The unprepared are often chewed up and spit out.
