Hello here, does anybody has a sample checklist for NVC. we finnally got USCIS approval on August 30. we want to be gathering documents so it will be fast when they eventually send us a checklist.

Thanks in advance.

So happy hear it Tenneh. Congratulation! Hopefully all will be going smoothly in NVC stage.

For the checklist, you can go to www.nvc.state.gov to know what documents you need to submit to NVC.

Yes, we hVe submitted NVC documents but not police certificate from Iran and we got approved. But I wrote a letter a long with the documents to explain that I'm not able to acquire that and also qouted from the website which is not required and also confirmed by calling NVC. Hope that helps!

Great Thank you

Finally been scheduled for an Interview at the London Embassy, October 24th - has anyone heard much about trying to get an earlier date?

Feel relieved, that final step is closer. Just upset it's such a long wait for the interview date!

no they will not give you an early appointment. whatever they gave you is what you will have to keep unless its an emergency.

you here about you are upset...you should be thankful you get date when others like me who filed September 16,2016 still waiting for approved.

OMG 😲, you are still waiting for approval from USCIS? I really think you should contact your senator or the ombudsman's office. You are way beyond normal processing time and has also exceeded the 60 days wait period after Normal processing time. We had to contact my husband's senator and got approved a month after they got involved. I don't know 🤷‍♀️ if there involvement got us approved, but at least we got approved and now waiting on NVC to get our docs and start their process. My prayers and thoughts are with you🙏🏽

Hello everyone and thank you so far for your support on this dreadful journey. Meanwhile, we received our welcome notice from NVC and have made our choice of agent. However, my husband clicked on pay AOS fees and it was active and he paid the AOS fees, but the welcome notice said we should give at least three weeks interval after submitting our choice of agent. I just checked our nvc case status online and it says the NVC received your fees and next step required is to complete DS-260. Is it normal or should we be worried 😩. The process is so daunting! Help!

Call NVC, they will tell you what to do, they are really helpful over the phone almost always. The next step is to pay the other fee and to submit the other application.

Good luck

Did everyone receive notification that their documents were received by the NVC? We sent ours and it was received (as UPS delivery confirmed) beginning of July. We did call a week or so later and the NVC said they don't send confirmation of receipt any more.

I went to check on case status and it doesn't say anything about being received, I will call today to check on it!
