VERY Important!! Please read this post. Could save you 11 weeks!!

Hello, for those of you who are about to start the NVC process or already have.. Please make sure you bookmark the following. I've created this because 1/3rd of our cases that are represented on our spreadsheet have received a checklist (like a RFE but for the NVC). Hopefully if you read this, it will reduce the chances of any of you from receiving one. Receiving a checklist can delay your case for 11 weeks (current processing time quoted by the NVC)..  Good luck!! :)

Hey! I recieved my welcome letter yesterday via email and I paid both fees also same day! Since i have a lawyer i didnt need to choose an agent as it automatically did so because of them... Next is to fill out application and AOS... And we are blessed to be able to do electronic processing since our case starts with GTM... We will be sending everything via email... Wish us luck!

Hello, friends, what did you or will you send to NVC as " Proof of domicile"?What does NVC really want to prove? This is new , never shown in previous years.

I would say a bill or letter that you received in the mail that has your address and name on it

When did you get your NVC case number? I got my case numbers when I called yesterday, but I can't choose the agent or anything because the welcome letter hasn't been generated yet. I'm wondering how long it takes before I can pay and stuff.
