I've been calling everyday since USCIS approval (May 26). NVC received on 6/12/2017, but when I call they say that there is no case number yet. Monday will be two weeks, so if I don't have it by then I can escalate to a supervisor.

When did you get your case number? Just tying to predict how long it is currently taking them

Keep calling, they recived my case on june 5th and i got my numbers on wednesday!!

They should have yours already. I called today and they told me i shouldnt choose an agent!! Not until i get my welcome letter, so im scared of doing so and be stuck or something, anyone else have started the procdss without getting the welcome letter and just with those two numbers?

I put my invoice and case number in and the website its ready for me to chose an agent im just scared it could slow down the process instead

thank you guys!!

I told them yesterday that i'm leaving for Japan on the 30th. They said that the can escalated it to a supervisor if I don't have a case number by June 27 (two weeks after they received it). They made it sound like it was pretty serious if there was no case number within 2 weeks

You should get it that dare then, but according to them you can not

start the process if you dont get the welcome letter, which can take up to 4 weeks!!! But a lotof peoplehere didnt wait for the welcome letter aparently and there were able to start as soon as they got the case and invoice number. Im confused!

What else did they tell you?

They told me i have to wait for the welcome letter on my email or mail box to be able to go through the process, that it can take up to 4 weeks for usto get that. People on this forum say we can start the process with this information, but im worried it can backfire on us. 😫

Let me know what are you planning to

do, thank you!

Hey, i just spoke with a really nice agent,he said we should defenetly wait for our welcome letter, (if we dont even tho we have acces to chose the agent it wont work out) that welcome letter package we will recieve instructions, it can take up to 4 weeks but its ussually less time he said, call them and give them your email if you havent yet! We need to choose an agent, then call them so they can complete it, and then pay the AOS FEE and send the package with the affidavit of support, a week after that we are gonna be able to pay the 2nd fee (335 dlls) and will be able to fill up the other application. It still a bit confussing, lets just wait for that letter so we can start asap! Good luck 🙌🏾

So we are sending our document pack to the NVC Sunday. We have paid the fees online as well.

From what I have read, it can take 30-60 days for them to process? Is that right?

Does anyone know how long would it usually take from when they receive the package to being able to get an interview date at the London Consulate?
