I called yesterday and they already received my case but have not established a case number for my case yet. He said it can take up to two more weeks but even be earlier for them to put in the system. Even you can call to check up on your case (603) 334-0700. You get automated options I always select 2. And you just have to wait for them to answer and receive your call. Maybe they already have your case?

Not yet received. I think if by now still not received, we don't need to wait 6 weeks. Should start to look for the file now.Very concerned. I sent on the 19th from Texas also.

Hello All,

I received a check list for NVC documents.

Question is do i have to send all of it?

For example

Evidence of income - Which is pay stub i believe?

W2 - I have them

IRS Tax transcript - I have them as well

Federal income tax returns - isn't this already included in transcript?

Social security statement  -> Do i have to include this if i'm including all the above already?

Proof of asset -> such as?

Good morning,

I submitted my AOS payment on Saturday and when I submitted it gave me an error message but still put the payment to In Process. I called today to ask about the error message and see if everything is still ok and I was told that i cannot use Google Chrome and that now it will take up to a week to have it "reset" itself and then I can try again. Did anyone else have issues with this? Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

Hello,

@Djodrey it happened to me too. I paid mine on Tuesday afternoon this week and when I clicked "make a payment", it gave me an error message. But when I went back to the main menu, it says "In Process". I heard about Google Chrome problem from a representative too. Did your payment status reset and are you able to make a payment again by now?

I found out the hard way as well, once you get that error it takes about 1 week for it to reset back so you can attempt to pay again, make sure to use Internet explorer, be sure it's not Windows 10's edge browser, it has to be internet explorer.

Thank you AlviNY..!

It would have been better if NVC advised it on a welcome letter in advance since it is known issue, however, I understand NVC can never be nice to do that.

I'll wait until next Tuesday and see if it resets. Thank you so much for your advise.

If anyone who experienced this issue, please keep it updated ...

You are not alone .. I am sitting here waiting as well .. They are processing and approving November cases and we are still here waiting .. not fair! Has there been any new approvals from October recently? I believe 10/25 is the bottom of the list at Nebraska as all the cases beyond that date were transferred to Texas. Any early October filers are still waiting here?

My PD is October 31st and have been at Nebraska the entire time; and I am still waiting for my i130 approval.

Hearty congrats to the ones that have moved on to NVC

I am Oct 6 and I was only approved May 30. Ask a tier 2 when your background check started, then add 45 days to that date. That should give you a fair estimate on when you'll be adjudicated, unless you are one of the few people who have  extended background checks.

There are still some early Oct. and even Sept. still waiting too. It's crazy

Thank you for your advice. I called today at noon central time and was transferred to Tier 2 and the automated system put me in line for a call back .. estimated call back time was 350 minutes!!

I hope that I will receive a call back .. Did you ask any particular questions that made them give uou more details on where your case is exactly at?

At first I got lucky and a Tier 2 just told me that a Background Check was started on April 11. After that I would tell the Tier 2 that I wanted an update on the progress of the April 11 background check. 80% of the time the Tier 2 would look up the information.

Just tell the Tier 2 that you know a background check was started and you would like to get an update. They can log into a part of the system that gives information about every time something is updated. Sometimes the Tier 2 won't want to give you the information, or won't know how to log into the system. If that happens, you just have to call back the next day and hopefully get someone who is willing.

They just called me back and didn't tell me much really.. I told them that My congress man had informed me a background check was started and I wanted to know where the case is with that. She gave me the whole September 30th answer and I said well the website says that they got to the date on March 30 she said as of May 26th they are still working on September 30th at Nebraska and that's what she sees on this system .. then she the cae is pending and I should hear back "really soon" and if not then I should call back within 3 to 4 weeks .. I just don't know what to make out of that conversation..

Just call back tomorrow. That answer is a standard answer that some Tier 2s give to everyone. I called everyday for over a month, always asking the same questions.

As of this morning it unlocked the ability for me to pay my IV fee but my AOS fee is still In Process. I paid the IV fee with Internet Explorer and it seemed to go through ok so hopefully that will clear soon. I'm hopeful that by next monday the AOS fee will reset and I can be done with NVC mid next week. I have my packet all set and am just waiting to send it out. Any one else have their IV fee unlocked with the In Process AOS fee still there?

Again, I'm there along with you. I received the IV invoice after midnight, I went in this morning and it was unlocked and ready for me to pay. I too went ahead and paid it using internet explorer and had no issues. AOS fee still processing since Saturday.
