ok everyone.. I need some advise.  I thought i sent the financial forms at the same time as the other nvc documents.  but after my aos payment was completed they sent me the cover sheet for the affidavit of support.  so do I send that separate from the other documents I send when i pay the second fee?

You were supposed to send in all your documents at the same time (see NVC instructions):

Quote

After you collect the financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of these items in ONE package to NVC. Your case may be significantly delayed if you don't submit all of your documents at the same time.

Did you include the civil documents with your packet?  Did the cover sheet you included have a bar code?  If yes to both, then they'll simply scan the checklist page.  If you did not include any sheets with a bar code...you could be facing some delays.  If you have not yet sent in your civil documents, then they won't touch your file until they receive them...and piece it together with the financial documents you sent earlier - again, more significant delays.

Nothing you can do in either case except call NVC to confirm if they've received your packet - and by "packet", I mean all required documentation.

In order for them to consider your document in queue for review, all fees must reflect PAID, all forms completed, and all required documentation received and entered into the system.

I have not sent anything yet.  I paid the $120 fee yesterday.. and waiting to send the next $325 fee once it's invoiced.

...but today after my $120 fee cleared I was sent this email asking for my "affidavit of support".  I didn't think I was suppose to send anything until all fees are paid.  so I was confused when I received this email.

Ah, that clarifies it.

You can send your documents in at any time, just make sure you include both the aos cover sheet and the checklist cover sheet you received with the welcome letter.

They won't look at it until all your fees are paid but you can still send it in while proceeding with the rest of the steps.  My suggestion would be to send it when you pay the IV fee.  DS 260 unlocks after 3-5 days so around the time you complete this last form is also approximately when they would receive your packet.  Shortcut :)

I am so sad to see that there are a number of you who have not yet been approved. I pray for you all. We will get through this.

I believe that those of us who go through this harrowing process actually come out a stronger couple in the end. We are getting lessons in patience, organization, saving money, and planning like other couples will take years to accumulate.

I send my hugs to you all and hope you get your approvals soon.

Are you all calling? My online status did not change until we were sent to NVC. So do not rely only on the apps or website. Calling and talking to tier 2 is the safest bet.

Good luck. 💜💙💜💙

Congratulations!  Did you get approved around the VJ estimated timeline? You know where it says when you may be adjudicated.

My PD is Oct 31 and I got transferred from Nebraska to Texas on March 23 so we are close..

I contacted my senator's office 2 weeks ago, after ignoring my emails and inquiries during those 2 weeks, they sent me this response yesterday:

"I heard back from the Nebraska Service Center and they said it hasn’t been assigned to an officer yet.  They are currently working on applications submitted the end of August and your priority date is October 25, 2016.  They asked that we check back in 60 days.  I have put a reminder in my calendar to check on it the middle of July.  I hope this information is helpful."

I mean who are they kidding? I called and talked to tier 2 yesterday and got the same old bs.

This whole thing is just a joke.

The same thing happened to me. I have the same priority date with you. My husband called tier 2 USCIS in the beginning of March and they said that they are still processing August 30th and we have to wait for 60days which is has passed 60days until today. My husband called tier 2 again last Friday and they said the same exact thing. My husband told them that they said the same exact thing when he callen on March. But they just said "every case is different". And they can't do anything! This is so frustated because my friend from the same country as me and her priority date is November but processing in Texas has got approved last month! Nebraska is really sllloooooooooowwwwwwww! It has been 7 months waiting and nothing that we can do except wait and wait and wait!
