I think what she is saying is not correct . Here on the September filing boards, people transferred to Texas are getting approvals for late September  (26th, 27th). Nebraska has approved several from first week in September from the posts I've read. So either way, i doubt it will be 90 days unless theres an extreme slowdown on the horizon, which i sincerely hope is not the case!

Hi goobies, thanks for the info. But, upon checking on January 2016 I-130 filers, they got the NOA2 after 3 mos. so hopefully we get ours too after 3 mos. I am hoping they speed up the process.

Amen to that

Just got off the phone with USCIS hoping they could tell me where we were transferred to, when I typed in our LIN number the automated system said we were sent to Nebraska, where we originally filed, even though we received a transfer notice. Has this happened to anyone else? Hoping it's just an error in their system and on the wait list for a call back from them..

Today, I received hard copy mail saying our file was transferred to Texas. So I called USCIS and entered my LIN number. The automated machine said my file was sent to Nebraska. So, I think my case is exactly same as yours (transferred to Texas and then to Nebraska again). This is so discouraging.....

But as someone said above, some early September filers are getting an approval. so I hope our turn comes soon..

That's really crazy.. My file was transferred to somewhere that I still don't know where exactly. (I guess it is Texas service center like others)

I was strongly believing that my file was transferred until yesterday but I guess some cases were went back to its original center. I think I should call USCIS to check if my file was sent back to Nebraska like your case.

My husband called USCIS. First, the automated message said our case is in Nebraska EVEN THOUGH I received a transfer notification mail today. So he spoke to an agent. My husband gave her LIN number and shortly she replied she sees my case is in Texas on the system. So, I report here that I got a mail saying my file was transferred to Texas AND automated message said my file is in Nebraska BUT the agent said my file is in Texas as the system shows.

So im very confused now. My file remains in Texas when someone's file was sent back to Nebraska.

This is sooo frustrating! I hope yours is still in Texas as those transferred should get approvals in April! I just don't understand WHY they would send files back when Texas and California seem to already be approving some December filers :(

The automated says our case is in Nebraska too, even though i got the letter saying Texas yesterday. The rep I talked tontoday isn't sure, she scheduled a tier 2 callback for me in 3 to 5 days....argh....

In the meantime, I asked the September board if they had a similar experience,  maybe this happened to them....

My husband didn't get to talk to tier 2. Please let us know if your case remains in Texas or was sent back to Nebraska once you have a chance to talk to tier 2 in a few days. Since we got this notice a few days ago, maybe we should give some time to make all the info in the system fits together.

But still, I'll wait for your update.

Thank you Elleandeff.

They don't seem to have a fixed rule to transfer files around. It is so random and that's what makes us so discouraged. My husband and I decided to give them some time to apply the change on every system (automatic message, the system that agents use) and then call back there in a few days.

By the way, how can I have a chance to talk to tier 2? do I just need to tell the agent that I want to talk to tier 2?

Ok, here is what @Trinbago from the September filing boards had to say:

*** "Hello Everyone,

I am happy to announce that I was FINALLY approved today. For everyone who says that their case was assigned to a specific service center but the USCIS automated case status when you call says Nebraska, do not be alarmed. This was happening to me and no one could explain it until today. Basically their system is flawed and they are trying to improve it. The tier 2 supervisor I spoke to today informed me that it can sometimes take up to 30-45 days for any updates made to a case to actually reflect correctly on the basic system (go figure....). " ****

So i hope that clears up some worry for those of you who got the transfer letter, and the automated system still says Nebraska! Thanks for the info @Trinbago

Thank you for the update. My PD is 10/18. I was originally at Nebraska and got transferred to Texas which historically is the fastest of them all. I am hoping to get an answer soon.

@AlviNY we didn't get approved yet, I was quoting Trinbago from the September board :)

But it looks like early September is getting approvals for Nebraska and Late September for Texas and Potomac. I hope we will start getting approvals soon!

Hello everyone! We got transferred from Nebraska to Texas as well...Just got the notice of transfer in the mail yesterday. I'm soooooooooooooooooo tired of waiting, I check myUSCIS every day.

Are the processing times posted on their website accurate at all? They seem to update every few months and the ones currently posted are the "processing times as of Jan 31st" which is when they were working on the September cases. Now, a couple of months have passed since then so I'm hoping they made some progress by now. Been seeing approvals from mid october for Texas, but then again, it all comes down to where the beneficiary is from. Seen some November Nebraska filers around here who got their NOA-2 in under 2 months and were done with the whole process by February. Seems a little unfair if you ask me...
