Just got a message that my wife's case has been transferred out of the NSC. I won't know where to yet, until I get the notice in the mail ( its stupid that they would email and SMS me that it is changing, but not where it is going to ).

But, I am hoping this is a good sign, not only for my wife and I, but as people get moved out of NSC, hopefully, NSC will speed up for everyone!

Hello, have you received any mail yet? Same situation ...

Letitgo, could you please create a timeline? It helps everyone make better estimates of the time it is taking for things to move.

Thank you kindly!

Hello everyone!

I have been patiently waiting and following this topic for some time now. I filed my I-130 for my spouse who lives in Colombia. We received our NOA1 on October 28th.

Today my app that I downloaded to track my case alerted me that my case has " been received at my local office". I did not receive a text or an email from USCIS but went on the website to confirm and sure enough it said the same thing. Below is the exact verbage of the notice:

Case was received at my local office

On March 14, 2017, we received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I was very excited to see some movement in the case after only 5 months but after researching this a bit i am concerned of why this is happening. Has anyone else received this notice or does anyone have any info on what this means? Should I try to contact USCIS for clarification. It doesn't give me any info on what to do next or what to expect next.

Hello All,

Just to update, today I got another alert that now says I have been transferred to another service center. I feel better about this knowing that other people are now getting the same message. Below is the actual message.

On March 15, 2017, we transferred your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by April 14, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Is this the exact message for those of you that say you have been transferred as well?
