This page is pretty helpful:

NVC Process

Thanks!

We have to prove domicile for my husband also as he's here in Canada with me. I'm doing cross boarder paperwork with my father in law and the mail system is as bad as Nebraska sometimes lol

Immigrating from Canada is lucky, because I'm pretty sure you can do electronic filing for all your AOS and IV documents!  Saves loads of time apparently!

So true! Only down side is in in Alberta and I've been researching medicals and they are all out of province and my interview is in Quebec eventually. So costly travel fees but if it gets us to new York quicker all the better. You are with Nebraska also? Where did you file from?

Yep, Nebraska black hole for me too.  Filing from Japan. My SO and I are both living here now, but we were hoping to have the visa ready by May.  Looks impossible now, so I will have to go ahead and she will come for a bit on a tourist visa.  She'll have to go back to Japan to finish the visa stuff and interview, but we won't be apart too long.

The process at Nebraska is taking so long we decided to hold off on moving until next year, after our daughter graduates from Preschool in early spring. I feel for those of you who don't have the luxury of adjusting your schedule easily.

You all should be thankful that your cases are actually gonna be process, my husbands case is part of the seven Muslim countries being banned and trump is expected to sign a new EO this week. This has definetly been stressful.

They cant just tell someone you cant bring your spouse to America,

it might be a harder and probably longer process though

Exactly they can't they sound like they want the us people who have spouse go nut in them.  That can't happen, they can't just stop them from moving there just like that.

My prayers go out to you and your family Ruby. This is not right and families should not be separated. I have faith it will be solved.

They can't start October filers and September filers haven't getting approved yet, only a few, maybe a hand full.

so y'all should be getting approved in April.

They are are still working on August filers.

unless they will approve September filers the next week.

wait for next week and look at how many filers in August filers get a approved or September filers.

if they approving slot of September filers then I must say it's September filers turn to get approves.

some people will be lucky to get approve in October next week so fingers cross it's one of you.

Yes I understand and yes some of October filers even November and December got approved.

For example like next week they will start approving a lot of cases, I am not sure if it's August filers or September filers.

If we see September filers getting approved that mean they are finish with August filers month which in January.  Yes  I know not all of August filers get approved,  but they will add some August approval with September approval.

Last November and December I notice they was approving  June and July  and 5 or less of August September,,November and December filers.

Now January they maybe approving some August and September filers and maybe 5 or less of October, November December and January filers.

am just saying wht i see.

So I just called again and actually they are still only working on August filers. I just can't believe they are taking so long with this. They update it every 15 of each month. I thought they would have been coming close to September by now. Goshhhhhh!!!! I have to wait another 2 months of I knew it would take so long I would have filed much earlier. I messed up big time.
