I don't think so at all. The more ways you can proove what they're asking the better, imho. When we received an RFE for I-129F, we sent them back over 30 pages of information and proof so that we wouldn't be asked for more.

I do have one question though, I wouldn't get a touch by just calling the 800 number and listening to the recorded message about our case would I? I don't think that this would cause a "touch" but I do need to ask that question here though.

No calling the automated system wont cause a touch, only someone at USCIS looking at the file, or moving it from one place to another would cause a touch.

Yes, a very good feeling knowing that our file isn't just sitting there collecting dust. While waiting for the process to complete its course I have put together a very well written resume, cover letter, and credentials. Been in contact with a few agencies, they're very much interested.
