How do I check whether my interview has been set up?

It's been longer than 8 weeks, so I'd like to contact Montreal and find out whether or not my interview has been scheduled, because I need to tell my job when I'm taking my vacation time.

Is there a number/email that I am supposed to use? I've seen people complaining about checking and not having gotten anything yet, so there must be a way, I just don't know how.

They will probably tell you you're on the "waiting list". Montreal isn't too good with scheduling interviews... see the waiting room thread:

My wife and I both called the Montreal Embassy (I called after to absolutely double check the date of our interview) and they let me know of the date right after we gave them our Visa/USCIS number. Definitely check, as I didn't receive the actual packet about what to bring for about another week. We only had 3 weeks when we first called, so imagine if you wait for that packet, could be cutting it close!

I was also told by my lawyer that they typically schedule dates for the next month from the 15th of the previous month on, so my wife and I both called on the 15th exactly and found out quick.
