Hello!

We are submitting my AOS from K1 visa packet within the next couple of weeks (waiting on Civil Surgeon Stuff) and my husband has asked me to reach out to the VJ community to ask; if he wants to change jobs while the AOS is processing, would it cause a problem?

Thanks

Apologies for any confusion, he is the US citizen and my sponsor, therefore is already working - I am the one applying for AOS, EAD etc.

He's not allowed to work until he adjusts status and receive work permit.

Sorry, I was the one who didn't read your question carefully.

If you are chosen to have an interview and the date is set not long after you filed and he's in the new job only for a few months, the officer reviewing your case can think your husband doesn't have a stable job or maybe they won't even ask anything. Also, you might not have an interview and everything can be just fine. It's unpredictable, I'd have a sponsor lined up just in case

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Mexico
Timeline

He ca change jobs, as long as his income will still meet the 125% requirement. He will provide his most recent tax transcript plus proof of current income. If the current job is really new, he can provide what pay stubs he has from it plus provide pay stubs from the old job and even the other tax transcripts from the last 3 years to prove stable, ongoing income.
