Hi everyone,

We have gone through the process of the K1 visa, i am currently in the US and we already got married!! i am currently filling all the forms for the change of status and a question came up...

i didn't get all the vaccinations on mexico city, i asked some civil surgeons and they say that if i want only the vaccinations i need to bring a copy of the form I-693, however the doctor didn't give me a copy of that, i only got the sealed package for the interview.

do i have to go to get a full medical exam again and get the vaccinations? im really confused on this....

People that go through Juarez get no vaccinations or a properly filled out DS-3025, since the clinics there tend to refuse to give vaccinations to K-1 applicants. Well, sometimes they give a useless blank one.

OP> You need to tell the civil surgeons that you call that you are adjusting from a K-1 and do not have an I-693. You had your medical abroad from a panel physician and do not have a copy of it. Let them know you only need the missing vaccinations and parts filled out by the civil surgeon for a K-1 adjustment applicant, per the I-693 instructions, and do not require a new medical exam. You may have to print out and show them the instructions, and you may need to call around to quite a few civil surgeons and even drive further out of your way.
