Hello guys!

Would like to ask your advice with this-

Have not drove a vehicle in >15years. Would like to enroll in a driving course before moving to the US. Lessons are taught in either MT or AT. Giving considerations to practicality, which should be my best bet? Is learning MT then later driving an AT too big of an adjustment?

I know that MT is not that common in the US anymore especially with newer vehicles, but from where I am MT still holds supreme in the genetic makeup of the automobiles.

Thanks!

i am from England, I had only ever driven manual transmission cars, driving an automatic transmission is simple, put it in drive & go :)

I would learn the manual because then you have the choice - I would add that I wanted a manual transmission as that is what I was used to, it took ages to find and cost more than the automatic equivalent

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

What kind of car do you think you will buy/ drive most? I'd learn that style.
