I'm only interested if it will pay well. With my fiance unable to work and us having to pay AOS fees and move out on our own, I am willing to do something if it compensates well. Did anyone ever find out how much?

Ooooo, does this mean I may have bragging rights such as "hey! I've talked to her on VJ!" ? :D

OK, I guess it would be more like replying to your post on VJ... but they don't need to know that. XD

Edit: Ok, so I posted this BEFORE continuing to read the other responses... obviously it sounds like it's not a good idea to do the show.

I was contacted in February 2015, a month before my now-wife's K1 interview, asking if we wanted to be on. Looks like the user's account has been deleted...

Hi Stephanie and Phillip!

I'm with the casting department for the TV series 90 Day Fiancé. We are currently casting couples in the K1 Visa process. 90 Day Fiancé airs across the US and abroad on the TLC network. We are filming for our 4th season now.

We're looking for couples who want to share their story. I came across your profile on Visa Journey and I thought you might be a good fit! If selected for the show, cameras will follow your journey from arrival in the US through marriage. This is a docu-series that follows the ups and downs in the K1 process.

If you're interested in learning more please email us at K1ShowCasting@gmail.com with your story! If not, best of luck with your visa!

Thanks!

However, we both didn't want to be on the show. Privacy reasons, both not made for the cameras. We'd be the most boring couple ever (we never argue or fight) and we agree the same in most situations. This show is horribly scripted and they'll edit you in a way you can never turn back anymore. I barely seen a couple or person that came here with true intention and love. This show horribly misrepresents 85% of us.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.

I remember Amy, though! Didn't she and her husband recently have a baby? *googles* They seemed to be super genuine and in love.

Hey,

I got a VisaJourney PM about the casting call for the 90 day marriage VISA show on TLC. I want to see if this is something they just mass sent out to all the profiles on here, or if they really did see something interesting in my profile.

Thanks!

I got to talk to one of the original cast, he told me they got paid $15K and they want drama and will edit as much as they can, they only want people from poor and backward countries.

I wonder what most people's price is for being perceived as scammer or nitwit for the rest of their lives? Is it 15k?
