Tax transcripts for citizenship interview when applying under the 5-year rule?

Months ago, I read posts telling people that they need to include their tax transcripts with their N-400 applications. I didn't include mine, and my interview is now scheduled for next month. The interview letter just says to bring the following:

You MUST BRING the following with you to the interview:

• This letter.
• Your Alien Registration Card ("green card").
• Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.
• Your passport and/or any other documents you used in connection with any entries into the United States.
• Those items noted below which are applicable to you:

If applying for NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE of a United States Citizen;

• Your marriage certificate.
• Proof of death or divorce for each prior marriage of yourself or spouse.
• Your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship.

If applying for NATURALIZATION as a member of the United States Armed Forces;

• Your discharge certificate, or form DD214.

If copies of a document were submitted as evidence with your N400 application, the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview.

Since I'm applying under the 5-year rule, I'm wondering if tax transcripts aren't necessary. I probably over-prepared for my previous steps in this journey, but I don't want to under-prepare for this step.

Also, I'm still married, but since I'm applying under the 5-year rule, do I need to bring our marriage certificate and my USC husband's birth certificate? They would be easier to get than tax transcripts.

Thanks for your help.

Bring them with you or if you have copies of your tax return that would be even better. USCIS wants to see that all of your taxes are up to date. The interviewing officer and I went over my taxes during my interview. Bring a copy of your marriage certificate as well as your husband's birth certificate or his US passport.

Bring a copy of everything that you submitted for you N400 application. They may not ask for this but it is good to have just in case.

OK, thanks.

How many years should I get tax transcripts for? I've been a permanent resident since 2009.

Get for last 3 to 5 years. It is not a tax audit. Focus on your citizenship.

Thanks. I printed out our tax transcripts for the past 3 years, but the interviewer never asked about them. I was glad I had them just in case, though.

Just wondering, as I was researching about bringing tax transcripts, did they ask for yours? If all goes well, I will be called for an interview in the next couple months - under 5-year rule, still married, though.
