Ah, yes, mine did that same thing. 1/11 I have New Card was produced or ordered, then it switched to Case was approved.

Does that mean they mailed it? I thought it had another status that I was waiting for that said 'Card was mailed to me'?

Hi, My Case status changed Case was approved on 1/12, and I got approval letters(NOA) for EAD and AP last night. No card in hand yet.

My status is not updated to 'Card was mailed to me' either. I'm guessing it might take some time due to MLK day/inauguration this week. Inauguration day is a federal holiday as well so.. :)

Hi there, I checked some of the EAD timelines and see most people who have received their approval, receive their card in the mail 7-10 days after.

Our case still says 'Approved' from the 11th and we are wondering how long until it changes to 'Card was mailed' .... Or, is there anyone on this thread who received their card before the system updated to 'card was mailed'?

Thanks in advance!

Mine changed 6 days later after Case was approved. Approved 1/11 and card was mailed 1/17. Still waiting the card though.

Call USCIS or do a service request online.. I did 3 and got a stranded response to all ' we are processing your case and an update will be available soon'

The stranded response leads me to believe it is processing delays apposed to case delays.

I called yesterday (past day 90) and got the following response today:

"Your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, was approved on January 16, 2017.  Your Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and approval notice will be mailed to the address on file.  If you do not receive the card within 30 days from the date of this notice, please contact customer service at the number provided below."

No updates to my case on the USCIS page so if it's past day 90, do call them.

First after you call the number, there will be level 1 agent on the phone, and after I explained the situation and ask for decision on my expedite request, level 1 agent said she didn't see any hing. Then she transferred me to the next level agent. You can also go ahead and ask them to transfer you if they can't do much help.

Usually Tier 2 or level 2 agent has more access of their system and more information. Also, make sure to call early cuz I realized that if I call later in the day around 11am-ish, level 1 said they can't transfer me anymore since there are so many people calling.

AOS Package Sent - 10/17/2016

NOA 1 date - 10/20/2016

Fingerprint appointment done - 12/2/2016

File expedite request I-765 due to severe financial loss - 1/3/2017

Fax document requested for expedite - 1/11/2017

EAD approved / new card being produced - 1/17/2017

EAD mailed - 1/20/2017

EAD in hand - 1/25/2017
