You have to give tracking number always 24+ hours to update from the time they are assigned to your mail adress. Congrats on the EAD!

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

Depends on how long you're married for. If less than two years, the green card will be valid for two years (usually after approval of the i485 but sometimes after the filing date, you'll have to wait

Just got confirmation that my I756 EA cards are being produced! Now hopefully also the AP card will get done soon!

Ok thanks.  I will call USCIS first thing Tuesday morning to see if I can get my tracking number!

I did not receive an I-765 approval letter.  Only online updates for I-765. On Jan 9: card is being produced.  Jan 12: your card is being mailed.  (Never a specific note to approval).  My I-131 online has not changed or been updated since Oct 31 2016 BUT I did receive a letter dated Jan 9 (received in my snail mail box Jan 13) that it was approved.  Go figure!

Always take your passport along too. If there is a name change involved (through marriage) take the marriage certificate with you as proof of name change/clarification for different names

I had mine in less than 7 days the first time and second time because of name change in five days. It varies, I think! ^_^

I think it varies on where u are. I had a social when I came here on J1 I took like 3 days to get it but it got destroyed so now I need to renew and change my name because my EAD will come in my married name. The state I am now I hear it takes longer

we showed new EAD and expired drivers license. Agent told us the information would take about 24 hours to transmit to DMV records. Went the next day to DMV , sure enough info was in their system and I was able to renew license. Haven't received actual social security card or new driver's license yet tho.

In my wife's case (she was on K-1), we just showed her K-1 visa, passport, and SSN application form.
