Nowadays AP and EAD are combo cards. It should say on the back of the card you have advanced parole.

Noted, thank you for that! :)

Hi Everyone... I want to help a friend and want your opinion.. They are asking her for additional evidence after the interview of AOS.. She said she needs an affidavit about their relationship and living together.. She said she will ask the neighbors for it.. Do you think it's a good idea? I told her I think it's better if the affidavit is from the brothers of family of US citizen.  Thank you so much.

In my opinion, I think she should get it from neighbors, family, if they live in an apartment complex ask the leasing manager as well as their work and personal friends. Get as much as she can. My lease manager submitted an affidavit for me in my original package, she always see me and my husband together and we always go to the indoor pool that they can see from the leasing office.

I just received an email in response to the inquiry I made on 1/7. That was day 81. Here is basically what it said

The status of this service request is:
Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

Has anyone else received this response? If so, what was the outcome?

For official affidavits, better not use family members

It means USCIS is working on your case. I don't know which type of case you were talking about (I-485, I-765, or I-131?). However, my personal experience suggested that online service request (inquiry of case status) is not very helpful until your case hits the USCIS suggested maximum processing time (e.g. 90 days for I-765).

Thanks pcke2000.

It's a I-765. I made the online inquiry on the 7th followed by a call on the 10th. I forgot that I'd received an email on the 7th stating that they would review the case and respond by the 29th. Funny how the mind can simply forget things it doesn't want to accept. Lol.

I made a inquiry on my 75th day and I got a response 7 days later like that. I wasn't approved until the 91st day so basically the SR is a waste of time
