For I-765, if it's been more than 90 days without a result and you never had REFs, it's highly recommended to submit an online service request. In my wife's case, EAD was actually approved along with I-131 on Jan 4th (day 85), but for some reason the USCIS myCASE never updated status of I-765 until today (I-131 status was updated on Jan 4th though). I received I-131 approval letter on Jan 9th and I submitted a service request for I-765 on Jan 10th (day 91). I got response back from USCIS today, saying I-765 was actually approved on Jan 4th. I haven't received the approval letter yet. Interestingly, a couple of hours after I received the USCIS response, I-765 online status in myCASE was updated to 'New Card is being produced' from 'Case was received'.

If your EAD is approved, does that mean your case is leaving the service center and going to your local office?

To be honest, hard to tell. However I see most people here got their EAD and AP approved on the same (or almost same) day. It is possible that USCIS just did not update your I-131 status. It happened to my wife's EAD case. I had to file an online service request to find it out.

That's what I read here most of the time that their EAD and AP was approved at the same time. Let's just wait then. Im just glad that my EAD is already okay. Thanks!!

Not necessarily, more than likely it is a combo card so sometimes they just dont bother to update the AP. At least that is what happened to me.
