Timeline

Just got the inbound mail notification on my USPS app, expected delivery Tuesday but I'm in NYC and it's priority mail so I should get it on Saturday since priority mail shouldn't taken more than 3 days

Finally my EAD says New card is being produced. No news on AP yet.

 

This was such a LONG and BORING wait

2016.10.25 NOA1 text & email / Biometrics fee received

2016.10.29 NOA1 letters in mail

2016.11.04 Biometrics Letter received & Biometrics done! (originally scheduled for 2016.11.14)

2016.12.09 I-485: Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

2016.12.23 Interview scheduled to 2017.1.31

2017.1.12 EAD and AP approved (EAD status was first "New card being produced" then soon changed to "Case Approved")

2017.1.17 EAD and AP approval letter in hand 

2017.1.31 I-485 Interview & Status says "'New card being produced" :)

Congrats. It's really wonderful to see some movements. I stopped checking mine, I'm just waiting until they reach to me.

Haha tell me about it. My PD was October 12, if this helps.

I was so avidly checking back in mid-end of December, and then the news comes out now when I checked with no expectation. 

I'm sure yours is almost there.

Congrats on the people that got update for approval! 

I requested expedite and faxed them the document regarding to expedite yesterday. Now the website updated to this. But my EAD case still shows case was received. Anyone have an idea what this means? Some help here please. Thanks a lot.

Don't know what that means but mine got approved the next day after I got that last notification

Did u contact ur congressman? I know it works faster when u have ur congressman send over the job offer

No i didn't. I'm currently working under my student visa OPT and there is no job offer. I need the new EAD to be here before my current one expires. Is there possibility for approval without congressman involved?

No idea u have to just wait. That's what that response means in the picture. It's what they said when I submitted a Service request on my 75th day
