It's been 86 days since the USCIS received my I765 application. I also haven't received an appointment for my green card interview yet either. Do I need to be worried? Does anyone know if that's "normal"? :-/

Sadly, I think a lot of us are in the same boat. My guess is that Thanksgiving/Christmas/NYE all slowed down the processing of our cases with people taking time off. If you scroll back in this Filer Forum Thread a bit, you will see some approvals (in the late 80's or even 90-day mark that they received notice of approval) My hope is that we all get approved within their normal 90-day 'processing timeframe'

My husband and I are at day 85 and think I will call USCIS after we have passed the 90-day mark.

I received my notification that my EAD card was mailed yesterday.  This was day 97.  I didn't submit a service request.  I guess the holidays slowed things down and the increasing of prices has produced an influx of applications.

Congrats!!!! Happy to see a fellow UK filer get approved, hopefully we are soon after. I wonder if they categorize them by countries for those around the same date?!

I checked your timeline and saw a large difference in your date filed and NOA1 and then realized we all count days from different start points.

I'm counting mine from October 17th, even though my NOA1 was October 19th, the uscis case website says they received it on the 17th.

https://my.uscis.gov/helpcenter/article/how-long-does-uscis-have-to-make-a-decision-on-my-form-i-765-application-for-employment-authorization

Has anybody on this forum spoken with an Immigration Officer on when the 90-day clock starts? I wonder if we are supposed to exclude weekend/government holidays, etc. .... Can you tell I'm bored of waiting?! :)

I saw your NOA1 was 10/21 on your timeline. When was your case received by the USCIS? Just trying to calculate what day you got your approval on. If you don't mind me asking :)

I didn't really understand what that NOA really was until a couple of days ago, I sent it in on 10/17 and they received it on 10/20

The number of days I quoted was calculated by the timeline tool on this forum.  To be honest, I've not really worried too much, they will get to it when they get to it, the important thing was getting here.  The wait on the K1 visa on the other hand was the most stressful thing I've ever had to go though, documents being lost by 2 the processing center and the embassy, UK bank holidays and US holidays all adding additional time,  I was watching for updates constantly which just added to my stress.  I was not going to put myself through that again!!
