Hey guys. Today my case status updated and it said that ead card was mailed to me but there is no tracking number. Should I call USCIS for the tracking number or my case status will be updated with a tracking number on its own.

My EAD status updated to that 3 days ago and it still doesn't include a tracking number as of today. If there is a tracking number I'm guessing we are going to have to call them to get it. Hopefully mine is waiting for me at home tonight

I called them the customer service agent told me he can't transfer me to the higher IO due to high call volume. He gave me a referral number and said an IO will call me within 3-5 business days. Please tell me if you get your ead card today.

May I suggest that all who are expecting tracked items from USPS to sign up on the USPS website for "MY USPS"

If anyone sends a tracked item to your address you will receive notification from USPS from the time a shipping label is created and updates on any movement through the system until it is delivered. You do not need to enter a tracking # the system automatically sends you notification of any item sent to your address. There is also an APP for your phone or tablet.

I just checked the USCIS website and there is an update saying my card is mailed to me. I didn't get an email or text notification of this yet.

It states that it should be here by February 5th. Let's hope it doesn;t take that long!!!

It usually takes a week but it could be shorter.  Congratulations!

I am thinking about making an InfoPass appointment with the local USCIS office for my wife's I-765 (based on pending I-845 (previously K-1)). I wonder which kind of information or in other words, how detailed information on case progress can be got with such an appointment?

We submitted I-485/I-765/I-131 and supporting documentation on Oct 11, 2016 (official USCIS receipt date). Got NOA1 (letters) for all three applications two weeks after and had a walk-in biometrics done on Oct 28, 2016 (original biometrics appointment date was Nov 7, 2016). So far no RFEs. I-131 was approved on Jan 4, 2017 (day 85), but no any updates on I-485 or I-765. I felt a bit weird because I saw most people got I-131 and I-765 approved almost on the same day.

I understand that I-485 may take a bit longer but I was told that USCIS has to make a decision on I-765 within 90 days after the official receipt date. Monday (Jan 9, 2017) would hit the 90-day mark but I am not optimistic that we can get any updates. I want to know what's going on on my wife's I-765 and I-485. I read somewhere that occasionally biometrics info collected at local USCIS office got lost, which caused huge delay on I-485/I-765 processing (because USCIS assumed that you just missed the appointment and would not send out REF as a reminder), I felt nervous and want to know if an InfoPass appointment can help me find out if our case has the similar issue.

Thank you very much for your time and help!

I would wait till January 10 to call them. When I called them before my 90 day mark, they put a request for "approaching 90 days" and I had to do a new, separate request for "passed normal processing time" ... it was like the first one I did never existed. In addition, today is January 9th, an extra day won't hurt. Be optimistic. Mine took 108 days to be approved☹️ Not sure if the holidays delayed them.
