Depends on how long you're married for. If less than two years, the green card will be valid for two years (usually after approval of the i485 but sometimes after the filing date, you'll have to wait

I unfortunately received a request for evidence letter which I gathered the information they needed and sent it off right the next day, it has been 50 days now was i suppose to receive a response letter or will it just go back into processing?

Just got a text message from USCIS, I-131 status changed to 'Approved' today. No news on I-765 or I-485 though.

Question: Are I-131 and I-765 (for K-1 based I-485 application) supposed to be approved at (almost) same time? I don't know why I got update on I-131 today but nothing on I-765, is it normal?

I've read that it is normal. It's one combo card though for the EAD/AP. U might hear about the i-765 tomorrow morning

Well I hope so too, it's been 90 days for me today!

F-1 visa/status, F2A category - child under 21 yrs old of permanent resident

AOS (i485, i131, i765) package received October 7th 2016

Biometrics appointment November 22nd but did walk-in November 16th

service request December 21st (75th day) - answer case within current processing time

January 6th service request online (91st day)

got answer on January 12th that my case is on hold because they sent me RFIE on November 3rd and I haven't answered yet...I never got any letter, no updates on website, when I was calling them no one told me that they are waiting for answer for RFIE, they kept saying my case is under review

january 26th USCIS received my answer for RFIE

March 10th EAD/AP approved 

March 17th combo card mailed

March 22nd combo card received

I never got a RFE so I don't know what to tell u. Give them a call

When you open your receipt # this is what it will look like

 

On December 13, 2016, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC1790149111. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Yeah on my timeline my EAD was estimated to be approved from Jan 1st to the 7th and now it's from the 5th to the 13th or something like that. I guess the holidays really messed up USCIS case queue

Yea it's terrible. Mine changed 3 times. From December 30 to January 5 and from January 5 to 12 now it's saying January 9 to 17... Even the processing time for I 130 at NBC has moved from September 2016 back to July 2016...

I'm so screwed without this EAD right now it's not even funny. I have a job offer and the manager said he'll hold out for me until the 15th and it's not looking like I'll get it before that to be realistic

I thought that they'd be moving faster now that the holiday is over and they're well rested..

Sigh, this wait is frustrating.
