I never know when the system update is to notice. I just hope I'm approved soon. I'm only at 69 days tho..

Maybe its the Techy in me lol. Its usually on the home page under news. I actually like to see when it says that because there is usually good news for me that follows. lol

Usually about 5-8 days from what I've seen. I hope I see mine soon. I assume they'll probably even be out of office until Tuesday due to the holidays

I actually hope I get a notice for a greencard interview, too. (and getting waived because I live 5,5hrs from the nearest USCIS office where they do interviews). Much easier and one card for two years

I got a letter from USCIS today. I thought it was going to be a notification for my interview date, but it's actually a response to the service update request I filed on Monday. It states that they reviewed the case, but that it is still within normal processing times (I knew that) and that if I have not received a decision before the deadline I should call the service center.

Not great news, but at least I know now they are working on it I guess. The letter was sent on the same day I put in the request so it was a pretty quick response.

Could you please let me know how to make a service update request online? My wife did a walk-in biometrics on October 28th (original appointment date is November 7th), it's been completely quiet since then. No updates on I-485, EAD, or AP.

I am an active Army officer and moving to another duty station soon, I don't know if it's better to get help from local congressmen in my case.

Thank you very much!

check your case. when the page with your status opens there are four tabs/picture at the bottom. the second one from the left says "submit a case inquiry"

click this and it will take you to a form to fill out. or you can call the service center and request a case inquiry.

This only works whenever the regulatory timeframe is approaching, so for EAD after 75 days counting from the day they received your file

Just hang in there! I submitted a service request on the 77th day of my EAD and got a response via email that an officer is working on my case. On the 87th day, I got a notification that card is being produced. It will happen, we just have to patiently wait.
