My husband is also the usc. It's also very hard for me because when you're at home with nothing to do you find yourself constantly Google every possible scenario that could possible gon wrong. Lol and also constantly checking the uscis website for updates. I'm also considering volunteering myself at a non profit organization but I'm in Miami Florida and I have no idea where to start...

My husband loves animals, so the local shelter was the first choice. He also goes to ESL classes, but finds them too remedial so he sticks around to help others. Beyond that he watches youtube videos about all sorts of educational things and he has been amazing at helping me around the house. Of course he is anxious to have a real job and I don't blame him.

You should find what you are passionate about. I am sure there are loads of non-profits in your area.

Funny side note - he hasn't googled or researched anything. That's all me. He grew up in a very rural part of Indonesia so googling is not really second nature to him. And he knows I will tell him any updates so he doesn't flood me with questions either. But I am a researcher - so I love doing this kind of stuff. That is not his brain at all. So i think he gets stressed about the wait, but reduces it with other methods.

Wow so your spouse can not get a GC from Indonesia? How so?

Wow I think I'll check if there is any animal shelter close to me as I'm also very passionate about animals... But my husband worries about nothing I think in our relationship I'm the worry freak. He is more relax and patient I'm certainly not. And I think I'm this impatient because I'm use to working and not sitting around at home so I'm really anxious to start working again...

Just wondering people here who got RFIE, what did y'all get the RFIE for ?

Did you receive your RFE in the mail?

Thank God I have a career else I would go stir crazy. Just I find myself as Venice1012 said letting myind wonder off to much far left as I see other filers with updates and cases moving along and I have had no updates. Also no one on the Oct or Nov filers adjusting from TN status.

Feel like a lone Star.

But we all will get Tru this.

I did start back running again. On my days off for 2 miles and increasing. Not easy.

Thanks for reply Venice1012 and AlinaB

No, you misread what I typed. I said he cannot become a US citizen. If he wants to become a US Citizen he must renounce his Indonesian citizenship due to Indonesian law. Neither of us wants him to do that for a variety of reasons.

Did you already search the non-family forum to see if any TN people are on there?

What do you research? I have a PhD and am a primatologist.

When I got my RFe for the i130 I first say it online on my status, btw that was the only form that gave status update. It was at the Tsc but my i765 and i485 forms came in the mail and biometrics but never updates and they came home Nbc aka MSC.

My status did change online after they received the RFe and again when it was Approved the i130.

Everyone is different as u see on here.

All the best.

Btw Indonesian laws are interesting.

I am a nurse and yes I have looked in other forums but nothing recent for tn to Gc via marriage. No one current to share stories and encourage for this year.

I have no clue how my case is treated.

I Do have a ssn and a job, pay taxes but no status per say.

To answer the other question I research lots of nursing journals and home improvements sites or yeah recipes too. Love cooking.

All the best on that RFE . U will be ok.

Chill is the new us.
