Knowing my biometrics is on Monday, I still anxiously check case status every day around 5pm. Had one RFE during the K1 (for a forgotten checked box) and really hoping to dodge a RFE during AOS.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

09/02/2020: Filed (Online)    09/08/2020: NOA1: (NBC) 
10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.  
01/29/2021: N-400 Interview - PASSED! 01/29/2021: Same-day oath ceremony.

Woohoo! My husband's status for his EAD was changed just now to "

we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us."

(But his AP remains unchanged)

AOS I-485 status updated to 'ready to schedule interview' - 25th November 2016

EAD combo card received - 28th November (even though AP tracking hasn't changed since approval)

I-130

08/20/2015: I-130 package sent  (Priority Date)

12/30/2015: 1-130 Approved

 

06/01/2016: Welcome Letter

 

I-485/I-765/I-131

10/28/2016: AOS Application Package Sent to Chicago (UPS)
10/31/2016: AOS Package Delivered
11/15/2016: E-Notifications received
11/21/2016: NOA received in mail

11/28/2016: Biometrics Appointment Letter received

12/07/2016: Bio metrics Appointment

01/22/2017: EAD is being produced (118 days)

07/03/2017: Interview is Scheduled

08/07/2017: Interview Day

08/08/2017: I-485 approval letter mailed

08/10/2017: permanent resident card mailed

08/14/2017: Received permanent resident card (almost 2 years journey)

Excited about my Biometrics app on Monday Nov 21st , suddenly 5 min ago got a text message saying My case Mcs XXX is now updated , check my case status" guess what ????

THIS -> "we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status"

My appointment on monday is still good right???

its like a common thing to get a RFE and apparently it comes around or after biometric appt. I got my RFE the day i got my biometrics done...

Wow... reading through old post i realize it's common to receive a RFE even after including everything in the package and that they regularly loose things...

I'm in F2A category (child under 21 of permanent resident) adjusting from F1 visa

They received my AOS October 7th

I got biometrics letter November 14th with a biometrics appointment date November 22nd

Biometrics walk-in in Boston November 16th

now waiting....

F-1 visa/status, F2A category - child under 21 yrs old of permanent resident

AOS (i485, i131, i765) package received October 7th 2016

Biometrics appointment November 22nd but did walk-in November 16th

service request December 21st (75th day) - answer case within current processing time

January 6th service request online (91st day)

got answer on January 12th that my case is on hold because they sent me RFIE on November 3rd and I haven't answered yet...I never got any letter, no updates on website, when I was calling them no one told me that they are waiting for answer for RFIE, they kept saying my case is under review

january 26th USCIS received my answer for RFIE

March 10th EAD/AP approved 

March 17th combo card mailed

March 22nd combo card received

Received Texts: 9/30/16


NOA1 Received: 10/4/16 : Receipt Date of 9/19/16


Bio Appt letter Received: 10/12/16


Bio Appt completed: 10/24/16


Card in production: 11/17/16


Combo Card received 11/25/16
