Thank you for your information! I had this feeling already the might do interviews at the Memphis office, ugh! Seems like a two day trip then lol (IF wer get scheduled for one)

You can go to this link to find the field office you need to go in case of interview (also works for info pass appointments) https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

And here https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=ASC you can find the nearest asc (location for biometrics)

My asc was a 45min car ride away (had an adventure and went alone by bus and train) and the field office is at least a 3h drive (spent the night nearby so we could attend a very early morning interview)

We had a successful walk-in at the Greer Field Office in South Carolina! They told us that we usually don't accept walk-ins after 2pm (it was 2:15 when we walked in) but the original date of our biometrics was a planned busy day so they were happy to take care of us early. It took no more than 20 mins! They told him his card would be mailed to him in 4-6 weeks :)

Is there anybody from Atlanta?

Also I have a question, my biometrics appointment is on the 16th. If I go earlier as a walk-in:

1- Will this expedite the coming of my work permit and travel card?

2- Going earlier as a walk-in can give any harm to my process? Does it have any bad sides?

Mant thanks

The day is not over as yet. I have seen reports of NOA coming in after midnight.

I have not received my NOA as yet either but just feeling better knowing that both cheques have been cashed.

How did you pay? I paid by personal check and could see online when they were processed.

No harm in going earlier but there is no apparent benefits if you do so before the scheduled time. I know I got my combo card just around the same time others did even if I went to my bio on the scheduled date and them were walk ins early

Payed with money order. reading that they cashed your checked put me at ease this morning but as the day is about to be over I'm getting worried.

Y'all need to calm down about NOA's. They will typically come within two weeks of them receiving your package. Don't stress over nothing, stress if it has been a month or longer.

It haven't gotten NOA as yet also and my package was delivered on the 21st but I'm not too worried because I was talking to an immigration lawyer earlier today and he told me that it's normal and I should receive NOA in the coming week.

So let's not worry and be positive... ?

I know the feel, I'm also waiting for my NOA's knowing that my check has been cashed on Monday by the USCIS. I just give them two-three weeks, otherwise I'll give 'em a call :-)

Anyone from the Nashville area that had their biometrics done at the CIS field office there? According to google it exists but USCIS rather point Memphis out. (Which would be a 4,5 hr drive for 15 min)

YAY ! Another Nashville person ?

Yes biometrics is in Nashville, but it looks like the interviews are in Memphis. Maybe if our interviews are at the same time we can rent that party bus to drive us there...
