Just looked in my USPS app, we did the interview last month now today there's a piece of mail coming in under my wife's name not mine, and it hasn't been approved online yet. Doesn't sound good, anxiety taking over until I get home tonight

Best case scenario it is the I-130 approval. This would be mailed in your wife's name. The I-130 and I-485 are approved concurrent.

hey guys, I got an email from USPS with a photo of the letter from USCIS, but I cannot figure out what the letter is about. It is coming from the main Lee's Summit office. Can someone please advise if you got the letter for the interview, where was that letter sent from? from Lee's Summit or a local office? thanks!

Interview letter comes from field office

So Green Card is finally in my hands as of Friday !!!

Sadly though, the whole thing about approval being concurrent and approved at the same time is a myth.

I-130 - approved 07/31/2017

I-485 - approved 09/27/2017

So conditional status expires 09/27/2019....

See you guys in June of 2019 for removal of conditions !!:jest:

So, I just got home and actually read the letter, it's the approval notice for my i130 form, it says nothing about the i485. Should I be worried or does it usually come after?

i-130’s usually gets approved first.

Só nothing on i485 yet and the funny thing is that even though I received my i130 approval letter it hasn't been updated on the online status which still says case received. I'm starting to get nervous

NY field office is a pretty slow office. USCIS Case checker isn't very reliable, honestly. Adjusting honestly just takes a very long time, and it looks like all October 2016 filers have the worst waiting times out of all months.

Yes. Better safe than sorry, right?

it's free when you add the copy of AOS NOA1.

I called USCIS right now to ask if there wa any onlther information on my case since I've gotten i130 approval in the mail and they said they only see that everythig is in process, but outside normal processing times so they were gonna open up a ticket number to expedite things. Well see what's gonna happen

EAD in C09 and C09P are automatically re-validated for 6 months when you have a pending renewal (that letter will be enough + it is listed on the uscis website too) - no worries
