Haven't posted in here in a while, but had a question. So as of June 30,2017 our local office (Hartford, CT) is now processing cases (i-485) as of November 13, 2016. Our case was received October 31st. Anyone else in a similar situation? It seems odd to me that the processing time is a couple weeks past the date of our case and we still haven't received a notice for an interview. What do you think we should do, besides another case inquiry?

I am in similar situation. My case was received on Oct 26 2016. Philadelphia field office is processing cases received in November 2016. I have not received a interview letter yet. I-485 status says fingerprint fee received on Nov 7 2016. I have raised multiple service requests but I have got no answer. Immigration officer says case is still with NBC.

Any news? How did your interview go? And it kinda worries me Venice was so active and she literally disappeared.

Hello All - we just had our interview this morning.  I think it went ok.  The questions were not too tough but very thorough and serious.  Our lawyer attended and felt it went OK.  No real indication from the officer on what their ruling will be - but she said they will respond within 3 months!  3 months!!

My questions to those who have had their interview - typically, how long did it take to receive your ruling post interview and how were you notified? I have checked my online status (many times) today and nothing has changed.  Will that change or will we just receive something in the mail.  Thanks all!

Just want to know if anyone has gotten a similar letter and do we have any immigration attorney in the house?

I am no lawyer but clearly this is for a second interview as it does have a time and date specified.

I would turn up with copy of this letter and all documents requested even if previously submitted. Take also any new or additional documents that will help your case.

Start researching Stokes Interview in the advanced search tool, wiki, and google.  You need to be prepared.

Looks like it's likely going to be a stokes interview. Start preparing as LionessDeon already said.

Hi all...Did the 2nd interview today....and yes it was a stroke interview....went very well...got there with my wife 8.20am. I was called in first at about 9.01am. The officer introduced himself and said he was not the one that interviewed the first time so he has questions for me. Sworn to tell the truth and the question began...state the full name and date of birth of your wife and spell it, same with my full name. Same for my step daughter. What visa did I come to the country with? Did I graduate?  Where does you wife work? Whats your highest qualification, what's ur wife's highest qualification....where does she work, what's the name of your daughters school and where is it located.....a lot of questions that if you are not leaving together, it will b difficult to answer....they interviewed me for 45min, called my wife in and wishing 15min, that was it...they just asked her to confirm the answers I provided. After the interview, I asked the guy how soon do we get feedback and he said as soon as he can...we were correct in all our answers except for like 2 and he said it's ok as he has not seen anyone that got all answers accurate.   We walked away feeling happy...hop to share the good news soon
