I also got the 2010 version but I could not care less if it was even purple or blue :)

Next card will be citizenship

Me neither haha. And actually, fun fact; from 1989 to 2010 the green card was pink/purple. I would have loved to have that color too, lol.

You got your 10 year green card?

I think they only started with the new design on May 1st, so apparently they still have quite a few old ones left in stock. It would be nice with a new one.

Hey there! We just completed 9 months of waiting and still no word on AOS. Can yall checkout my timeline and offer any insight? EAD, AP, and Biometrics all happened on schedule. We're in Austin so I believe the field office will be San Antonio. Processing times seem to be around 240 days. We are around the 270 day mark.

Adjusting from a K1 visa can take up to a year or more in some cases. Especially if you are transferred to a local office that is backlogged or has a big volume of adjustment petitions.

Thanks for the info! What's a service request? Infopass appointment?

You can fill this out if you believe your case is outside normal processing times. If it's not, the system won't let you send one in, also. But again, adjusting can take up to twelve months depending on the volume of petitions at your local office.

Well I guess because a lot more person filed in October than the previous months in order to beat the raise in fees. Uscis is famous for their heavy work load but from what I've heard the load is more heavier with October filers.

My 485 status is still at ready to be scheduled for interview since the 5 and I may not get interview until April or May.. My field office is backlog by at least 5 months..

Hi Venice 1012. Justing looking in to see how your journey is going?

Venice 1012 interview was scheduled for mid June. Have not heard from her since her last post back in around May. She was very frequent on here and giving advise and support.

I am concerned what may have happened to cause her disappearance. Did she just unsubscribed to the forum or is it something more serious?
