Depends on how long you're married for. If less than two years, the green card will be valid for two years (usually after approval of the i485 but sometimes after the filing date, you'll have to wait

Wow congrats. I haven't checked in about a month and I was shocked when my husband brought the mail, because I had gotten so depressed I stopped going to the mail box. Lol. When I got the letter I literally was in shock....

No interview ( I guess becasue of my K1 consulate interview prior to coming here) was scheduled it went directly from Evidence was recieved on Nov to  case Aprroved.. All the best to everyone!!

Btw I got my green card 10 years ofcourse in hand last Saturday in my mailBox.

Good luck everyone and hang in there. You will get through. Has been 6 months for me. Some will be longer but you all will be ok.

Today marks the sixth month after they received my response for the RFE so I could finally put in a service request. Fingers crossed.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

 

Naturalization                                                        
09/02/2020: Filed (Online)    09/08/2020: NOA1: (NBC) 
10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.  
01/29/2021: N-400 Interview - PASSED! 01/29/2021: Same-day oath ceremony.

I just saw my case update.

 

Seattle K1 to AOS appointment June 5. 

 

Dang was really hoping to be processed without interview. 

18th March 2016 - USCIS receives i-129f package at Lockbox23rd March 2016 - NOA1 text/email notification10th June 2016 - USCIS tracker showed petition was approved 9 June 201613th June - Received NOA2 in mail.8th July - NVC received12 July - MTL Consulate received19 July - Packet 4 received26 July - Medical done<p>10 August - Interview

POE - 27th Sept 2016
Married - 1st Oct 2016
Sent AOS - 6th Oct 2016
USCIS received 11th Oct 2016
NOA 1 - 19th Oct 2016
Bio Appt - 10th Nov 2016
Request for EAD expedite - 15th Nov 2016
EAD expedite approved - 21st November 2016
AP approved - 21st November 2016
EAD mailed - 23rd November 2016

AOS I-485 status updated to 'ready to schedule interview' - 25th November 2016

EAD combo card received - 28th November (even though AP tracking hasn't changed since approval)

I also put in a service request today.

Even the timeline for response is darn slow.
