Hello everyone, this is my first time posting anything, but just wanted to update on our timeline. We received an email notification yesterday that our AOS was approved and the card was being produced. We are K1 filers and we were not scheduled for any AOS interview. In hindsight, the process seemed pretty quick after all!

08/03/16: NOA2

08/16/16: NVC received

09/12/16: Interview - approved

09/21/16: K1 Visa received

10/05/16: POE NYC

10/07/16: Married

10/12/16: AOS Package sent

10/18/16: NOA1

11/14/16: Biometrics

01/18/17: EAD/AP approved

01/26/17: EAD/AP card received

03/30/17: Email notification that AOS was approved and card being produced

Good luck to everyone still waiting. We are very fortunate things have moved along the way they have.

Adjusting status can take up to a year -and sometimes longer-, no matter what visa you are adjusting from. It's frustrating but it's a waiting game.

Finally !  Received notice today that new GC is being produced. I'm not sure if contacting both of my Senators helped in this or not or if it is just the regular processing. Happy the card will be here soon.

I would not necessarily say it adds 120 days.  My wife's application got dinged for this as well at the interview back in February.  They gave us the paper with instructions as we left, the following week we had her tested, got the results and mailed them in.  They received the updated medical and approved her Green Card two days later.  Total extra time, maybe 2 weeks and most of that was on our side of making appointments and waiting for results.

We sent it in over two weeks ago. Still nothing. It's a good warning because they give you a copy of the Medical Form and you can see in that copy of the Civil Surgeon missed it. I'd definitely just check that way you can bring a sealed envelope from civil surgeon to the AOS interview and save potentially longer wait. Our office is a very busy and slow going one.
