So this happened today... Wife's green card was approved.  Literally two days after they received the RFE for medical we sent in.  They received the application packet on October 24th and approved a little over 4 months later!

Just got an e-mail about my status update. Three business days after my approval my EAD got send to me. According to MyUSPS there is a package assigned to my name and address from Pitney Bowes (they are a part of DHS) and will be delivered this Thursday.  Eeeek!

I'm still waiting :( 147 days

F-1 visa/status, F2A category - child under 21 yrs old of permanent resident

AOS (i485, i131, i765) package received October 7th 2016

Biometrics appointment November 22nd but did walk-in November 16th

service request December 21st (75th day) - answer case within current processing time

January 6th service request online (91st day)

got answer on January 12th that my case is on hold because they sent me RFIE on November 3rd and I haven't answered yet...I never got any letter, no updates on website, when I was calling them no one told me that they are waiting for answer for RFIE, they kept saying my case is under review

january 26th USCIS received my answer for RFIE

March 10th EAD/AP approved 

March 17th combo card mailed

March 22nd combo card received

  • 06/27/2016 - NVC received
  • 06/30/2016 - Case number assigned
  • 07/01/2016 - NVC left
  • 07/08/2016 - Consulate received
  • 07/18/2016 - Interview date
  • RESULT: Approved! :dance:
  • 08/12/2016 - Arrival (POE: Los Angeles Airport)
  • 08/20/2016 - Got Married :wub:
  • 08/29/2016 - Applied for SSN/Got my SSN card
  • 12/16/2016 - Applied for DL - (I was told to wait until they verify my status and will send me a letter)
  • 01/11/2017 - Got a mail stating that I can apply for a DL ;) and Passed the knowledge test 
  • 02/10/2017 - Passed Driving Exam / Received a temporary DL.
  • 02/22/2017 - Got my DL with 6mos validity. :wub::wub:

  • 01/17/2017 - received NOA (AP) in mail 
  • 01/18/2017 - New card mailed
  • 01/21/2017 - Combo card received!
  • 02/25/2017 - AOS status changed from "Request for evidence was received" to "New Card is being Produced" 
  • 02/28/2017 - AOS Status changed from "New Card is being Produced" to "Case was APPROVED!!!" :jest::jest:

My case went from "Fingerprints Received" to "Case Approved" yesterday! I suppose this means there's no interview for us? Although we'll sit tight and wait for the letter before celebrating.

K1 Fiancée Visa

2016/02/02: I-129F Mailed Out.

2016/02/10: NOA1 Text Received.

2016/04/07: NOA2 Text Received.

2016/04/27: NVC Case# Received.

2016/05/17: Packet 4 Received. (Packet 3 was skipped)

2016/05/30: Medical in Vancouver.
2016/06/22: Interview in Montreal.

2016/06/28: Administrative Processing.

2016/06/29: Visa Issued.

2016/07/08: Visa in hand.

2016/07/09: POE in Calgary.

2016/08/16: Married!

AOS Process

2016/10/01: Sent in AOS Package.

2016/10/17: NOA Text Received.

2016/10/28: Biometrics Appointment Letter.

2016/11/08: Biometrics Appointment.

2016/12/16: Form I-131 (Travel) and EAD Approved.

Right, If you already had an interview during the K1 application process, you will likely have no interview for AOS to Green Card.

K-1 applicants always have their K-1 interview and it's 50/50 for them when it comes to an AOS interview.

Oh to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to do another interview... I really hope that's us!  Our case status is still on fingerprint fee received.  Congrats to everyone who has been getting good news these past few days!

2/18/2016- Letter from NVC saying they're forwarding to Guangzhou

3/4/2016- Received P3, returned it about a week later

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

8/22/16- Married!

10/6/16- NOA 1 for AOS, EA, and AP (USCIS case status website says case was received on October 4th)

11/9/16- Bio appointment

12/13/16- EA and AP approved!

no news... case status on website still says "fingerprint fee received..."

4/11/17- submitted online service request for case out of normal processing time (over 6 months)

5/2/17- USCIS website updated to "My card is being produced!"

5/10/17- Green Card received

 

 

ROC

3/2/19- Filed ROC

3/8/19- NOA/18mo extension received

5/7/19- Bio appointment

9/2/20- Interview scheduled for next month!

I was told I'd find AOS approvals in here! Congratulations!! I'm from the November filers and I was checking in to see how long it takes to receive the actual card since I got my approval too on Friday!!

 

I can't believe you got it in 2 days @OliAnne !! lol that's extremely fast!! :oB-)
