Just got my texts/ emails . Looking forward to NOA hard copy and Biometrics letter.

A friend just been able to get a ssn with only her biometrics letter.

She asked for a temporary ssn so she could get her drive license.

Yes , sent 10/14 , delivered 10/17 .

It's different for everybody, some took 17 days to receive it, some got the hardcopy NOA and no sign of the texts..

Is this forum still active. I got my noa1 October 4th... Rfe October 24 and biometrics done on October 26. What are people's timelines like

Hi guys,

I've sent the package on 1st of Oct - they received it on 3rd and on 18th I had text messages - check cashed on 19th and received 3 letters from mail on 21st but still no news from biometrics appointment.

Is this something normal? Is anybody on the same boat with me?

Yes this is very normal. Don't get confusde here as some folks who got their Bio earlier are not EB but Marriage or Family based AOS. EB and FB AOS has different processing timeline. My case is just like yours Send on 1st, delivered 3, text/email 18th and no Bio yet. I am sure you will receive your appointment letter at any moment now. If you do not hear anything by Nov 5th call USCIS CC.

Sent Aos packet with ead/ap to chicago lock box October 1

Uscis recieved aos packet october 6

I got 3 Noa1 text october 7

and got my Noa1 reciept from the mail October 17 and it was coming from Missouri

Now im waiting for my biometrics..

I hope we all get a smooth sailing process!

Received and signed by J. CHYBA,USCIS on October 17th 2016 Monday morning.

It's been 10 business days, still didn't get any notification email or text. Cheques not yet been cashed. Is there someone who is the same boat. Can any shed some light on this issue. Thanks

Thought I'd join here. I filed 10/13 but my package never got updated through USPS tracking so we didn't know if it got deliverd or got lost. Our check was cashed today by DHS finally. Hoping for a smooth process now!

They cashed my cheque today after 10 business days but still didn't get any text or email. Is that normal ?
