For those who received Biometrics appt. Did your online case status change before receiving appointment letter? I sent mine on Oct01, received on 3rd. USCIS receipt date 6 and notice date is 18 October. Received NOA after 5 days on 24th but no biometrics appointment so far???

My online status didn't change. Between getting my electronic NOA and biometrics letter in the mail 24 days passed. Some people who received their NOA after me received their biometrics before me. I'm not sure what determines how quickly some applications but a friend who is an immigration lawyer says biometrics timing can be frustrating because it partly depends on how busy your local office is.

I bet you'll be getting yours soon. I think Friday was the first day October filers on here started to see them coming in.

I got the biometrics letter yesterday. It was received on October 3 at the Chicago lockbox So, it took 27 days. Hope everyone gets theirs soon. Now waiting for the EAD.

Today is the 15th day since they received my aos, no text/email yet. Im getting worried.

No need to start worrying yet. Oct filings are taking from 14 - 18 days. I am waiting also along with lots of people

Still haven't gotten mine either. Will wait until the end of the week.. Some took around 17 days to receive it..

Been the longest 2 week I have ever waited.

Yes, staff over there were very nice and it was done in about 15 minutes.

They told me as long as they are not busy and you have the biometrics appointment letter, they'll let you in.

No change on online status.

pcke2000 , Thanks a lot for the info . I was able to successfully walk-in for biometrics today.

10/03/2016 ---- I-485+EAD+AP package received at chicago Lockbox.

10/17/2016 ---- Recived email and text notifications.

10/22/2016 ---- Received Hard copies of NOA's.

10/28/2016 ---- Received Biometrics Appointment letter FOR 11/08/2016

10/31/2016 ---- Biometrics completed ( early walk-in)

11/01/2016 --- Received RFIE for tax forms(text ).

11/08/2016 ---- USCIS case updated with response for RFIE received.

12/12/2016 --- EAD and AP approved.

12/18/2016 --- Recived combo card(EAD+AP) in hand.

Just got my texts/ emails . Looking forward to NOA hard copy and Biometrics letter.

A friend just been able to get a ssn with only her biometrics letter.

She asked for a temporary ssn so she could get her drive license.
